Assia Sidibe heads the Secretariat of UNITLIFE, based in Station F, Paris. UNITLIFE is an innovative financing initiative which seeks to leverage resources for the fight against chronic malnutrition.
Prior to joining UNITLIFE, Assia worked for the African Risk Capacity, a specialized Agency of the African Union providing sovereign risk insurance solutions to some of the countries most vulnerable to climate change in Africa. As the Head of West and Central Africa, she had overall responsibility for ARC’s operations in the region, which provided approximately
100 million USD in coverage annually.
Assia is from Mali. She grew up in Côte d’Ivoire and also lived in France and South Africa. An Aspen New Voices fellow, she is passionate about the development of the African continent. She graduated from Sciences Po Paris with a Master degree in Finance and Strategy.
