Gill assumed her role as CAF Southern Africa’s CEO in January 2017. Gill has some 25 years experience, in the corporate, parastatal and non-profit space. She is a Corporate Social Investment (CSI) specialist and has managed the trusts and foundations of a number of blue chip entities, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). She has had extensive experience in the Financial Services Sector, from a CSI perspective.
Her experience includes Governance and Compliance, B-BBEE scorecard consulting, Sustainability
Reporting, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER), Research, Policy Formulation and Implementation, Strategy Formulation and Implementation, Programme and Project Management, and Fundraising. Gill held the position of part-time facilitator at a Johannesburg business school and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work, an Honours degree in Education Social Work, and a Master’s Degree in Public and Development Management.
