Paul Nwulu is the Executive Producer and Chief Executive of TriCom Productions Ltd, Abuja-Nigeria, a multimedia production and communication consulting firm he founded in 2006 to tell African stories to a global audience. With almost two decades of experience as a story teller and strategic communication professional, Paul has worked in Philanthropy and as a professor of Communications and Media Studies in both the United States and Nigeria. Until recently, he led the media initiative at the Ford Foundation’s Office for West Africa in Lagos where he supported the creation of high-quality media content that increased awareness of key issues in governance and transparency; youth sexuality and reproductive health; and political participation. He also supported capacity building for storytellers and promoting greater public engagement with the media to accelerate social change.
Paul holds a doctorate in mass communications from Wayne State University, a master’s degree in organizational communications from Western Michigan University, and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from College of the Ozarks in Missouri
